PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for processing the silver halide photographic sensitive material for an image setter capable of rapid processing and low in tendency to cause stains. SOLUTION: The method for processing the silver halide photographic sensitive material containing at least one kind of silver halide uses an automatic developing machine comprising at least a developing process, a fixing process, a rinsing process, and a drying process, and processing method is characterized by using a film conveying system, after finishing the rinsing process, comprising at least one conveying roller 13 in direct contact with the photosensitive material and at least one auxiliary roller in no direct contact with the material.
