<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer, having a structure in which a pair of E-type cores can be readily fixed onto a coil bobbin which has an insulating cover attached thereto, without requiring new materials for fixing a core. SOLUTION: Engaging holes 1b are provided in a flat portion 1a of an insulating cover 1 installed integrally in a coil bobbin 3, while projected portions 2C are provided in the end junctions of outer legs 2b of E-type cores 2. When a pair of the E-type cores are inserted counterposed to the coil bobbin 3, the E-type cores 2 and the coil bobbin 3 are readily fixed, by engaging these projected portions 2C to engaging holes 1b.</p> |
