<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid-state laser device of laser diode(LD) pumped type with which a laser rod can be excited efficiently, even if laser diodes are disposed along one direction. SOLUTION: A light condenser 1 for condensing excitation light from a laser diode 5 on the side of a laser rod 3 forms a part of an ellipse, and the exiting surface of the exciting light from the laser diode 5 is disposed on one of the focuses of the ellipse. The central axis of the laser rod 3 is disposed on the other focus, and the direction of the optical axis 6 is matched with the long axis of the ellipse.</p> |
