PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CLV(constant line velocity) disc format accessible to an arbitrary address at a high speed in spite of being a complete CLV disc format. SOLUTION: In the CLV disc format comprising a series of sectors having a sector length equal to an integer times of 2×±×(track pitch), track marks of fixed length are arranged at a constant physical length interval along a spiral recording/reproducing information track and track position information is obtained by detecting track marks on a current track and an adjacent track. |
