The external security lock for sliding aluminium door and window frames consisting of the base-guide (4) that is attached directly to the frame with bolts (6) without necessitating opening a reception in the frame, the base bearing a twin latch for locking (3) with locking pins (2), a locking spring (5) and a locking pin (8) that locks with the facing part (7) and is covered by the cover (1).
