PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a monitor to confirm audio/video AV data received/outputted from/to each input output port of a video AV server at any time without the need for provision of monitor output terminals of the equal number to the input output ports. SOLUTION: The data recording and reproducing device is provided with a monitor output means 2 that receives AV data with monitor information added to them from all of a plurality of input output ports 9-12 and outputs the AV data that are displayed on one screen of a monitor and one monitor output terminal M that outputs the AV data outputted from the monitor output means 2 to the outside of an AV server 1, and a monitor 31 confirms the AV data received/outputted at present by the input output ports 9-12 by displaying the AV data outputted through the monitor output terminal M on the monitor 31. |
