PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a user timing detector for spread codes with a guard chip for each of a plurality of users. SOLUTION: A perch signal is given to a maximum point detection section 10-1, which extracts a signal at a sample point denoting a maximum point, and the signal is given to a 1st peak search section 10-2-1. The 1st peak search section 10-2-1 searches a signal point at which a sample value takes a maximum value at a 1-symbol length Ts and outputs a 1st user timing signal. A 1st signal mask section 10-3-1 outputs an output signal from which the output of the maximum point detection section 10-1 is extracted by a mask part having a prescribed width around a sampling point of time of a 1st user timing signal. Suceedingly, the similar processing is conducted and an Nth peak search section 10-2-N finally outputs an N-th user timing signal. |
