PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the quantity of tag data without losing required information. SOLUTION: The image processor conducts image processing by using pixel data used for printing and tag data denoting the type of an image, and is provided with a pixel data storage means 14 that stores expanded pixel data, a tag data storage means 18 that stores the tag data, and a tag data revision means 20 that compares the pixel data stored in the pixel data storage means 14 with the tag data stored in the tag data storage means 18, detects a correspondence relation between the pixel data and the tag data, and revises the storage contents of the tag data storage means 18 in response to the result of detection into the correspondence relation above.
