PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device management device that allows a plurality of controllers to accurately manage each device in a system where a plurality of the controllers and a plurality of the devices are interconnected in a network form. SOLUTION: This device management unit 30 registers the identification code of each device and the identification code of each controller corresponding to each device as a registration identification code, stores the identification code of the controller outputting a device control request as a designated identification code so that a comparison section 104 compares the registration identification code of the registered controller, corresponding to the device being an object of the device control request with a designated identification code of the controller outputting the device control request, and permits control of the device being an object of the device control request to the controller outputting the device control request, when the registration identification code is the same as the designated identification code.
