PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an observation device for microscope constituted so that the display surface of an observation monitor can be easily adjusted in a direction being optimum for observing a picture. SOLUTION: The camera unit 29 of a digital camera 28 attached to the side board 27 of a microscope main body 21 and a liquid crystal color monitor 30 are coupled through a coupling member 31 constituted of a spherical member and a hollow semi-spherical member. Then, the inclining direction of the display surface of the monitor 30 is made rotatable up and down and left and right and at a free angle obtained by combining them with the coupling part of the coupling member 31 as a supporting point.
