The milk of milk producing animals immunized against a particular group of allergens, may be used in a medicament or a food formulation for desensitizing a subject to those allergens. Specifically, the food formulation may be milk, skim milk, yoghurt or cheese, and the medicament is formulated for oral administration. Particular allergens include pollens of various trees and grasses, venoms from animals and insects, and food allergens such as wheat protein. |
