The cover has a cam mechanism within the hinge, ensuring tight closure. The conduit comprises a rear wall (11) forming both the base of the structure, and the back part of the box. A removable cover (12) is hinged to the base by means of a hinge (14) formed between the top edge of the rear wall (11) and the corresponding top edge of the cover. The hinge is formed by two profile sections on the two parts - base and cover. One profile section fits over the other, and acts with a cam action, so that when closed the cover has no play in the hinge. Mounting ribs (42) within the conduit allow support plates (43), internal divisions or other equipment to be mounted inside the conduit.
