PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a copy while synchronizing the read control part of an image reader and the image formation control part of an image forming device with each other and to perform the operation from one console panel by allowing the read control part of the image reader to control at least the image forming operation of the image forming device instead of the image formation control part of the image forming device. SOLUTION: An SW 15 connects an interface control part 14 and a print part 16, an SW 24 connects a read image processing part 23 and an image processing part 25, and respective parts of a printer 1 and respective parts of a scanner 2 are both brought under the control of a scanner control part 21. Image information obtained by reading a document by a CCD 22 is converted by the read image processing part 23 into an RGB signal and further the image processing part 25 performs a reducing/enlarging process, a density converting processing, and a processing for converting the RGB signal into an YMCK signal. The image signal processed by the image processing part 25 is temporarily stored in a buffer memory 26, sent to the printer 1 through an interface control part 27, and printed by the print part 16. |
