PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce engine operation for charging to the utmost after a stop when an air conditioner is used for a car in a stop, and realize reduction of emission environmental destruction material and improvement of fuel consumption. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner for a hybrid car, when the remaining charge in a battery 4 supplying power to a motor 2 for running and an air conditioning unit 6 becomes lower than a target value, the battery 4 is charged by a generator 2 driven by an engine 1 for running. When a vehicle is running, the target value (charging start threshold) is set high according to the increase of power necessary for air conditioning which the air conditioning unit 6 needs, and the charging amount of the battery 4 is increased during running. |
