PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a dictionary on the basis of a question and an answer to this question even when a dictionary preparer does not know well a word dictionary and a semantic category system. SOLUTION: When the dictionary preparer inputs a dictionary record skeleton from a dictionary record skeleton input means 10, a search processing managing means 12 makes the dictionary preparer select one of modification relations in the dictionary record skeleton and supplies the dictionary record skeleton to a concrete word and semantic category input means 13. In this case, the dictionary preparer inputs the concrete example of words in respective modification relations with entry words in the dictionary record skeleton and the semantic category of this concrete example in the modification relation corresponding to each concrete example. Then, a search executing means 14 starts a search while defining the semantic category corresponding to the selected modification relation as a search point. When the dictionary preparer answers to a question based on the semantic category at the search point, the most significant semantic category is searched on the semantic category system. |
