PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power demand estimating method capable of highly accurate estimation for demand electric energy on a specific day, by obtaining a reduction rate based by a statistic method. SOLUTION: In a power demand estimating method, normal day mean demand, which is the average of demand data corresponding to a normal day, and a specific day mean demand, which is the average of the demand data corresponding to a specific day, are obtained of a demand data in the past, a reduction rate represented by the relation of reduction rate = specific day mean demand/normal day mean demand is obtained, and a value multiplied by normal day demand approximating an estimation objective specific day by the reduction rate is determined as the demand on the estimation object specific day. |
