<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the firing and explosion of an IR sensitive coating fluid as well as to improve work environment in coating, to prevent the damage of a photosensitive resin layer in direct coating and to select a developing solvent used in a wide range in a photomechanical process by preparing a fluid containing a latex and an IR absorbing material as the IR sensitive coating fluid. SOLUTION: The IR sensitive coating fluid giving a non-IR shielding layer which can be ablated with IR laser is an aqueous coating fluid containing a latex as a binder polymer, a dispersed IR absorbing material and a dispersed non-IR shielding material. Additives such as a wetting agent, a surfactant, a defoaming agent, a film forming aid and a preservative may be contained in the coating fluid in accordance with necessary characteristics. The latex is added in such an amount that a film is formed in a film thickness capable of ablation with IR laser beams when the coating fluid is applied and dried. The latex is preferably added in such a way that 20-80 wt.% polymer is contained in the dried film.</p> |
