PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed wiring board mounting body by which the electric inspection of printed wiring boards piled up at narrow gaps can be executed simply and to provide its inspection apparatus. SOLUTION: A light receiving element 201a (or 201b) is attached to the surface in the end of an interposer board A (or B) in such a way that its light receiving face is directed to the outside. A light emitting element 202a (or 202b) is attached to the rear in such a way that its light emitting face is directed to the outside. This inspection apparatus 30 contains a light emitting element 302 and a light receiving element 303 which are fixed to the light transmitting- receiving face at the inside of a light diffusion sheet 301. In addition, the inspection apparatus 30 contains an inspection circuit 304 which is connected to the light emitting element 302 and the light receiving element 303. The inspection apparatus 30 is used in such a way that the light transmitting and receiving face at the outside of the light diffusion sheet 301 faces a light receiving element 201 and a light emitting element 202 at a printed wiring board mounting body.
