PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for the state of using a gas apparatus and moreover, and accounting system of the charge of a gas classified by apparatuses which achieve discrimination of the state of using a gas classified by gas apparatuses and easier calculation of the quantity of the gas used. SOLUTION: A measuring means 4 is provided to measure a consumed power P or the equivalence of the consumed power of a gas apparatus 2 combined with electric service and a processing means 6 to discriminate the state of using a gas of the gas apparatus 2 or to calculate the quantities Qs and Q of the gas used from the consumed power P measured by the measuring means 4 based on a correlation document 5 between the flow rate of the gas of the gas apparatus 12 and the consumed power P or the equivalence of the consumed power. Moreover, a apparatus-wise gas charge calculating means 10 is provided to calculate the charge Us of the gas classified by the gas apparatuses from the state of using the gas discriminated by the processing means 6 or the quantity of the used gas calculated by the processing means 6 based on the knowledge for gas charge conversion to convert the charge Us of the gas classified by apparatuses.
