PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate hazard of hydrogen gas explosion and enhance the safety by using a pump of compressed air drive type as a water circulating pump and hydrogen circulating pump, eliminating provision of any power supply for driving such elements to lead to suppression of the cost, and precluding generation of electric sparks. SOLUTION: A pump of compressed air drive type is used as a water circulating pump 4A and hydrogen circulating pump 6A of a fuel cell system, and an air compressor 7 for preparing a compressed air to be supplied to a fuel cell 1 is used for that purpose also and driven. Because the air compressor 7 is already provided in the fuel cell system for supplying compressed air to the fuel cell 1, there is no need to provide any drive source anew. Because this is not of motor-driven type, there is no need to use any power supply, and risk of generation of electric sparks does not exist. Therefore, there is no hazard of hydrogen gas explosion. |
