SEALED BATTERY, SEALING PLUG FOR SEALED BATTERY, AND METHOD OF SEALING INJECTION HOLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to decrease a defective sealing generated in sealing an injection hole opened in a seal plate, and decrease a defective supply of a sealing plug in a sealing step in manufacture of a sealed battery. SOLUTION: A sealing plug 35 consists of a planar presser plate 351 made of an aluminum alloy and a projection part 352 formed of EP rubber. The presser plate 351 is fixed to a front side of a seal plate 31 while the projection part 352 is in a state of being pressed in an injection hole 34 by the presser plate 351. As a result, the injection hole 34 is sealed. An outer circumference of a tip 352a of the projection part 352 is pressure-connected with an inner surface of the injection hole 34 to thereby seal this part, and a surface of a base part 352b of the projection part 352 is pressure-connected with a cur part 341 to seals this part.
