<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly request the transmission of image data and also to shorten the reading time of the image data which can be read on an internet. SOLUTION: In this transmission method, a data server 2 receives a facsimile transmission request from a terminal 1 via an internet 3. Then a data base 4 is retrieved according to the facsimile transmission request information which is received by the server 2, and the image data on a requested object are acquired from the base 4. A facsimile device 5 is instructed to output in facsimile the data on the requested object and then the image data are outputted in facsimile from the device 5 to the terminal 1 via a public circuit network 6.</p> |
