PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deviation of the registration of respective color images and banding in a color image forming using a photoreceptor and an intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: Toothed pulleys 110a to 110d are respectively connected to respective KYMC (black, yellow, magenta and cyan) color photoreceptors, and receive driving force from a toothed pulley 140 connected to a motor 160 through a toothed belt 170. Gears 120a, 120b and 130 are respectively connected to the intermediate transfer body, and the driving force of the motor 160 is successively transmitted from a small gear 150 to the gear 130 and from the gear 130 to the gears 120a and 120b. Respective color toner images formed on the respective photoreceptors are superimposed on the intermediate transfer body corresponding to the gears 120a and 120b by two colors, and they are all superimposed on the intermediate transfer body corresponding to the gear 130, so that a color image is formed and then transferred to paper. Since the driving force is transmitted to the photoreceptor from the motor 160 not by way of the driving mechanism of the intermediate transfer body, the irregular rotation of the photoreceptor is reduced. |
