PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make fetchable the closed contact position of a key switch from the keyboard interface of a personal computer as key code data. SOLUTION: This circuit is provided with a contact switching pulse signal generating circuit 3 for generating a pulse signal when an encode signal is inputted, and a closed contact is switched and a contact position confirmation pulse signal generating circuit 4 for inputting a contact position confirmation signal 8, and for generating a pulse signal. A scan signal 9 for a keyboard is transmitted through a gate circuit 5 by using the outputs of the contact switching pulse signal generating circuit 3 and the contact position confirmation pulse signal generation circuit 4 as gate signals, and a return signal 10 for the keyboard is generated by a return signal generating circuit 6 from a contact position decode circuit signal and the gate circuit output signal. Thus, the setting of a task mode by a key switch 7 can be fetched as key code data from a keyboard interface, and the key switch 7 can be easily operated in terms of hardware and software.
