PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To differentiate binary data from a data string signifying a real time processing command and to make them processable by handling a real time processing command string included in a data string as normal bitmap data. SOLUTION: Whether to be the first transmission processing to a printer after power supply is inputted is checked when transmission processing is started, and a prescribed flag is reset to the printer in the case it is so (S601 and 607). Whether a data string desired to be transmitted is a data string of bitmap processing command is checked, and when it is not so, a data string of a normal command is transmitted and the processing is finished (S602, 602: N, 604 and 610). In the case bitmap is in the middle of transmission in a real time processing command mode, waiting has be done until it is finished (S602: Y and 604 to 606). In the case the length of the data string is within prescribed length in a bitmap processing command mode, the data string is transmitted as it is (S603, 603: N and 610). In the case it is equal to or longer than the prescribed length, division transmission is performed and the processing is finished (S608 and 610).
