PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a driver IC which can be controlled to have the driving ability corresponding to the load of a liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with P-channel MOS transistors Q31, Q32 for a bias current source connected in series having on-resistances R1-R2, R2 (R1>R2) as the bias current source 21 for a bias circuit 20 of a horizontal driver IC. The bias adjusting terminals 27, 28 are connected to the source and drain of the MOS transistor Q31, respectively. The circuit between the bias adjusting terminals 27, 28 is opened, short circuited or controlled with an external resistor 29 according to the load of a liquid crystal panel, and thereby, the horizontal driver IC can be properly driven according to the load of the liquid crystal panel.
