PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which satisfies energy conservation, the suppression of surface staining to recording paper, back staining, the suppression of toner backflow from a contact roller, offset suppression, the suppression of contamination to a fixing film and pressurizing roller, etc. SOLUTION: The fixing stage has the fixing film 6 for contact with the side of a transfer material P transferred with a toner image, a heating member 1, the pressurizing roller 9 and the contact roller 3 coated by a resin. When the contact angle of the respective surfaces of the fixing film 6, the pressurizing roller 9 and the contact roller 3 with water are defined asΦf,Φr andΦx and when the contact angle of the flat planar molded article obtained by compression molding of the toners under pressure of 5000 kgf/cm2 to water is defined asΦt, respectiveΦf,Φr andΦx at and under 23 deg.C and 60% RH satisfy 140 deg.>=Φx>=77 deg., (Φf-Φt)>=(Φr-Φt). The melt viscosity logηat 130 deg.C of the toners is specified to 2.0 to 6.5 Pa.s.
