COLOR TONER, IMAGE FORMING METHOD USING SAME AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color toner which is excellent in flowability, does not cause the lowering of image density, surface stain and the contamination of the inside of a machine due to scattering, ensures good cleaning residual toners of the surface of a photoreceptor without chatter and the burr of a blade or the like and does not cause filming on the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The color toner is used in an image forming method in which a residual toner on a photoreceptor is removed with a cleaning means brought into direct press contact with the photoreceptor and the photoreceptor is repeatedly used to form a color image. At least one color toner of the toner contains <=15% by number of toner particles having <=5μm and <=5 vol.% toner particles whose diameter is >=2 times the weight average diameter of the toner, has the relation of 0.60<=D25/D75<=0.80 between the number average particle diameters D25 and D75 at which cumulative number distribution attains to 25% and 75% and has 6.0-11.5μm weight average diameter.
