PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the light guide loss of a light guide body and to simplify the structure of the device by providing a linear CCD and a light source on a substrate, providing the light guide body which spectrally diffuses light made incident from the light source, guides the light in a specific direction, and projects it on an object, and arranging the linear CCD and light guide body in parallel. SOLUTION: An LED 10 is mounted at the center part of a sensor substrate 8. The light incidence part 11a of the light guide body 11 is also provided in the center of the light guide body 11 in accordance with the mount position of the LED 10. A hold frame 12 has a through hole 12a into which the light incidence part 11a of the light guide body 11 is inserted. The through hole 12a is positioned coaxially with the LED 10 and the light incidence part 11a in the hold frame 12 and the light incidence part 11a is arranged just above the LED 10. In the hold frame 12, a rod lens array is installed opposite the linear CCD 9. A linear hole 12b is bored corresponding to the rod lens array and linear CCD 9.
