The invention relates to a process of preparing the fibrinogen receptor antagonists and to an intermediate for carrying out the process. According to the invention, the process consists in preparing the compounds of the structural formula: wherein R 1 is a saturated or unsaturated 6-atom heterocycle comprising one or two heteroatoms, wherein the heteroatoms are N or NR 6, where R 6 is H or C 1 - 10 alkyl; m is an integer from 2 to 6 and R 4 is aryl, C 1- 10 alkyl or C 4-10 aralkyl.
