PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic heater and its manufacturing method capable of remarkably rationalizing a production process and reducing production cost. SOLUTION: The ceramic heater has a body part 10 having almost a square cross section formed by stacking a heater substrate having a heater pattern layer comprising a heat generating part and a lead part 22, and a covered substrate for covering the heater pattern layer. A metal terminal part 3 electrically connected to the lead part 22 is installed on the main surface (a top surface 17 or a bottom surface 18) in the substrate stacking direction in the body part 10, and an outer lead wire 4 is joined with the metal terminal part 3 with a joining layer 5.
