PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer device for production facility which can be quickly restored even when a failure of a hard disk drive device is generated. SOLUTION: This computer device 1 is provided with an arithmetic unit A, an input device B for inputting arithmetic data, a display device C for displaying the arithmetic data, and an HDD device D for storing an arithmetic processing program to be executed by the arithmetic unit A or the arithmetic result. In this case, the HDD device D is provided with a basic drive unit and a drive unit for back-up which are constituted so that the contents can be held so as to be the same, and the HDD device D side is provided with a drive unit selecting circuit 2 so that the arithmetic unit A can be selectively connected one of the drive units in the HDD device D. Also, a switch for switching the drive unit selecting circuit 2 is provided outside the computer device 1.
