PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium housing case capable of preventing the falling-off of an ID hole lid from a case main body. SOLUTION: This recording medium housing case is composed of a case main body having upper and lower cases 2b and 2a, and provided with an ID hole 1 formed by punching one 2a out of the upper and lower cases 2b and 2a. Holding means 6 and 7 for holding a punched and separated ID hole lid 4 in the case main body 2 are provided on the opposite case 2b side.
