PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly detect that developer overflows a developing device. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic image recorder is provided with the developing device 4 introducing a two-component dry developing system. The device is provided with a developer overflow detecting means for detecting that the developer overflows through the opening part 4b of the developing device 4. The means is constituted of a 1st electrode 21, a 2nd electrode 22, a variable resistor 23, a DC power source 24, a voltmeter 25, an A/D converter 26 and a CPU 27. |
