PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer light emitting element easy to produce, having highly light emitting efficiency, various colors to emit light, and long life. SOLUTION: This polymer light emitting element has a luminous layer between electrodes constituted of a pair of positive and negative electrodes. The luminous layer includes two kinds or more or polymer emitters containing one kind or more of repeatable unit shown by a formula -Ar1-CR1=CR2-. Among the polymer emitters, an emitter having the largest number-average molecular weight of equivalent polystyrene is referred to a first polymer emitter and the other emitters are second polymer emitters. The equivalent polystyrene number-average molecular weight of the first polymer emitter is 104-108 and that of the second polymer emitter is 103-108. The fluorescent peak wavelength of the second polymer emitter is the same as that of the first polymer emitter or longer. In the formula, Ar1 is a bivalent aromatic compound group having one of 1-20C alkyl groups or a alkoxy groups, etc. R1 and R2 represent 1-20C alkyl groups and 6-20C aryl groups, etc.
