PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a system smaller and simpler and to adjust wavelength over a wide range. SOLUTION: An electron decelerating section 10 for collecting electron energy and an electron accelerating section 2 are placed side by side. An electron beam emitted from the electron accelerating section 2 and passing along the first orbit in an undulator 5 is returned to the undulator 5 after traveling around, and further returned to the electron decelerating section, 10 after passing the second orbit in the undulator provided in parallel with the first orbit so as to simplify a feedback transport system.
