PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with power feeding line and power feeding mechanism of a sliding contact type, and reduce the loss of the driving force of an electrostatic actuator by providing its primary coils fastened to the side of its stator and connected with an AC power supply, and by providing its secondary coils fastened to the side of its mobile element arranged opposite to the primary coils and connected with the electrodes of its mobile element, and further, by feeding powers to the electroded of its mobile element through mutual induction. SOLUTION: To a housing 1 of an electrostatic actuator, a first coil case 10 is fastened to store primary coils 1 therein, and to a mobile element 3, a second coil case 14 is so fastened opposed to the first coil case 10 as to store therein secondary coils 15 together with rectifying circuits. Hereupon, when setting an operating switch 25 to movement, a control circuit portion 7 converts the DC voltage of a DC power supply 21 into AC voltages having their periodically changing polarities to feed them to the electrodes of the respective phases of a stator 2, or the control circuit 7 supplies the AC voltages of an AC power supply 24 to the primary coils 11. Then, when AC currents flow in the primary coils 11, AC currents are induced in the secondary coils 15, and these AC currents are converted into DC currents by the rectifying circuits for feeding DC power to the respective electrodes of the mobile element 3.
