PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lens hood which hardly falls off from a lens barrel even when the rigidity of a hood main body is low. SOLUTION: This lens hood which can be attached to/detached from the outer periphery part of the lens barrel 1 is equipped with the food main body 10 formed of elastic material, a movable member 12 capable of moving between a projecting position where it projects to the inside of the main body 10 and a retreat position where it is retreated from the projecting position, and projection parts for engagement 10b and 10c formed at different positions from the member 12 in the peripheral direction of the main body 10 and provided on the inner periphery of the main body 10, and constituted so that the projection parts 10b and 10c may be engaged with the outer periphery part of the lens barrel 1 by the elastic deformation of the main body 10 in a radial direction caused by moving the member 12 from the retreat position to the projecting position while abutting on the outer periphery part of the lens barrel 1 when it is attached to the lens barrel 1.
