PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast reception reproduction system by which an electronic program guide can be viewed or which can be carried when going out without the need for overlapping the electronic program guide onto a program that is being viewed by allowing not only a digital broadcast reception reproduction device main body but also a remote controller to manage and reproduce the electronic program guide. SOLUTION: A digital broadcast reception reproduction device 11 is provided with a tuner section 211 that selects a digital broadcast, a demodulation section 212 that demodulates a selected signal, a transport decode section 213 that extracts an MPEG 2 stream data and system information from a transport stream data demodulated by the demodulation section 212, and MPEG 2 stream data reproduction section 214, an analysis section 217 that analyzes the extracted system information to extract an electronic program guide being information data relating to a program as a part of the system information, and a main body side communication section 218, and a remote controller 13 is provided with a 2-way radio communication section 221, a control section 222 that analyzes and stores received electronic program guide information, an entry section 223 that acquires entry from a user and a display section 225 that displays character information.
