The friable target of acceptable weight, strength and brittleness to be used for trap or skeet shooting comprising a composition of a) 30-45% sulphur; b) 30-60% of a filler such as sands, gypsums, clays, glass, silicates or rock and c) 0.25-4% of a sulphur modifier such as lignin sulphonate.
