PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CCD camera with a thin profile by using a CCD with a lead so as to facilitate mounting of an optical component. SOLUTION: The CCD camera is provided with a board 1 with an opening 1a onto which a video light is made incident placed in the middle, a CCD 2 that is placed opposed to the opening 1a in an incident direction of the video light on the board 1 and having a lead 2b connected to a wiring part 1b of the board 1, an optical filter 3 placed in front of the CCD 2, and a lens 4 held by a holder 5. A flange 5z placed to an outer circumference of the holder 5 is pressed into contact with the board 1, the outer wall of the end is fitted to the opening 1a of the board 1 and a container 5a containing an image pickup face 2a of the CCD 2 is formed at the end inner wall of the holder 5.
