PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for a photo print by which a template can freely be generated in the case of obtaining a certificate photo or the like where a portrait image is laid out automatically with a proper layout. SOLUTION: This processing method includes a layout generating process where a size of an entire image area and a position and a size of an image of a face of a person displayed on the entire image area are designed as template information, a layout process where the image is magnified/reduced so as to lay out the face image at the position and in the size designated by the generated template information and laid out, and an arrangement process where the face image is arranged so as to minimize waste of paper such as photographic paper.
