PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform image processings corresponding to the different respective specification characteristics in a plurality of image output devices by a real time high-speed processing without adding a special hardware. SOLUTION: In this image formation system provided with a plurality of printers 8 and 11 for executing mutually different image processing methods and capable of outputting images from both printers, a dedicated image processing unit 3 for performing the high-speed processing is provided. The image processing unit 3 stores the respective image processing methods in the plurality of printers beforehand, reads the image processing method in the printer to which image output is specified, executes the image processing to input images corresponding to the method and sends them out to the specified printer.
