PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield connector capable of preventing a current leakage between an exposed core wire and a shield layer of a shielded wire and making the size small. SOLUTION: An inner space 15A of a terminal housing part 15 of a shield connector 10 is separated in a front end side for housing the exposed part of a core wire 31 and a rear end side facing the exposed part of a shield layer 33 by an insulating ring 35 fit to the exposed part of an inner insulating layer 32 of a shielded wire 30. A large space in the rear of the exposed part of the core wire 31 where is installed in a conventional shield connector 1 is made unnecessary, and a current leakage between the exposed part of the core wire 31 and the exposed part of the shield layer 33 can surely be prevented.
