<p>The present invention pertains to the field of grinding and mixing equipment and may be used for the fine grinding of hard materials, for mixing different liquids and for accelerating mass-exchange and physical-chemical processes. The device of the present invention includes a body (1) that comprises a main duct and a secondary duct (2, 3) for supplying the material to be processed as well as an outlet duct (4), and further includes a stator (5) and a rotor wheel (9) which are concentrically mounted. The outer side surface of the stator (5) comprises an annular groove (7) with concave walls (8). The rotor wheel (9) comprises cavities (11, 12) having two rows of curved channels (15, 16) formed at their level, wherein said channels can be offset relative to each other according to a chess-board pattern. The radial slot-like channels (17) formed in the stator (5) have a width which is equal to the value obtained by adding the widths of the channels (15, 16) in the rotor wheel (9) and the distance separating the same. The end surfaces (18) of the rotor wheel (9) may further be provided with vanes (19). The device structure increases the succession frequency of pressure pulses as well as the interaction between the counter-flowing flows of the suspension to be formed, which substantially increases the apparatus operation efficiency.</p> |
