The system includes induction channels (20, 22), in each of which there is a switching flap (32). All these flaps have a common switching flap shaft (34). This shaft is mounted in shaft bearings in the parting plane (12) so that it projects radially at least partly into the cylinder head (14) and at least partly into the induction tube (10).
