A containment for a nuclear reactor plant comprises an inner wall (2) made of a heat resistant material. The inner wall has opening flaps which open outwards against spring pressure. The inner wall consists of massive metal plates, and the penetrations connect to chambers (6,7) between the outer and inner walls. The chambers have a filter unit (9) for filtering out radionuclides. The filter inserts can be changed.
