The invention relates to a thermally insulated wall, comprising a layer (2) of insulating material connecting onto the wall and an air-excluding sealing layer (3) arranged on the outside of the layer of insulating material, wherein the layer of insulating material is divided into compartments by air-excluding separating surfaces (12, 13, 14) extending substantially transversely of the insulated surface. The available volume of oxygen is hereby reduced so that a possible exothermic reaction cannot spread, or hardly so. The danger of punking is hereby greatly reduced. |
