The invention concerns a rotating electrical machine, in particular a motor vehicle alternator or an AC starter, comprising a stator (S), a rotor (R), and permanent magnets integrated in the rotor and/or in the stator, said magnets forming at least two groups each defined by a specific type of composition. The invention is characterised in that inside the rotor is provided a plurality of subassemblies, each subassembly combining at least a magnet comprising rare earths with a ferrite magnet, one at least of the magnets being radially arranged to generate an orthoradial magnetic flux. |
