Propeller and rotor protector

The propeller and rotor protector (1) has a protective grid in front of and behind the propeller or rotor as a protection against contact with other aircraft or other objects, including people. The protective grid has measurements which are such that no person can be harmed by the propeller or rotor and has no significant adverse effect on the aerodynamics or controllability of the aircraft. The grid rods should be of 15-35 mm diameter and the mesh size 900-15000 mm<2>.
